Moth and Mirror Terms and Conditions

By purchasing an item on this website it is assumed that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions including our Shipping and Returns policies.  

Moth and Mirror reserves the right to remove product from our website and modify website content if we wish.  

All weights and measurements are estimates only.

All prices include VAT.

Please note that the items created and sold by Moth and Mirror use natural materials.  Imperfections and irregularities are part of the character of the items we sell and are to be expected.  Natural materials, especially woods and coloured silver, may be subject to discoloration and fading, especially if exposed to direct sunlight.  It is recommended that such items be kept out of direct sunlight.  Wood may warp and change shape slightly.  

Bowls and gilded wooden items are intended to be works of art.  Please be aware that putting objects in them will damage their surface and finish.  Gilding is delicate.  Damp cloths, water and rubbing or repeated touching may damage the surface of the gilding.  

Shipping

We generally ship by Royal Mail Special Delivery and aim to have your item delivered to you 2-5 days after it was ordered, though this is a guideline only.  We reserve the right to ship larger or more valuable items via other tracked services at our discretion.

International Shipping

We are happy to ship items internationally.  Please email us for a quote.  Please be aware that all prices are in British pounds.  Any fees or duties levied by your country at customs are your responsibility and not the responsibility of Moth and Mirror.  Though we will attempt to ship to most countries we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged international items once posted and will not issue refunds.  Items shipped internationally are done at the customer’s risk.  We will obtain proof of posting for these items.  We reserve the right to refuse to ship to any country if we deem it too great a risk.

Bespoke Items

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed upon price is required before any bespoke items will be undertaken.   The balance of payment will be required upon completion of the item. We attempt to have all bespoke orders completed and shipped within two weeks of the order being received, however this is a guideline only.  During periods that we are exceptionally busy this may not be possible.  If this is the case we will make every attempt to provide the customer with an accurate delivery estimate. 

Returns

Moth and Mirror will accept a return at our discretion provided that it is made within fourteen days of the receipt of the item and in its original packaging and condition.  We do not accept responsibility for return postage and will not issue a refund until the item arrives.  We strongly recommend the customer obtain a certificate of posting.

We would ask customers to please inspect their item upon receipt for any damage incurred during shipping.

Privacy Policy

Moth and Mirror will not share your information with any third party.   Any information requested by this website will be used only to process your order.  We will only contact you regarding your order or if otherwise authorized by you.  

We are not responsible if a third party accesses your details without our authorization.
